Games Valley has hired Jorge L Morales as its first Director of Americas, a newly created role, pulling him from a commercial director post at Aristocrat Interactive to lead the B2B content aggregator's push into the region. The company confirmed the appointment on August 26. An effective date was not disclosed.
Morales spent more than two decades in regulated iGaming commercial roles before this move, including stints at Pariplay, Continent 8 and Microgaming ahead of Aristocrat Interactive. Games Valley, a casino content aggregation platform that licenses slots and other games from multiple studios to operators through a single integration, had no dedicated Americas leadership before this hire.
"Jorge brings an exceptional combination of industry experience, commercial expertise and a deep understanding of what operators need from their technology and content partners," said Ariel Reem, Games Valley's chief executive. Morales said Games Valley "has built a highly compelling proposition by combining premium content with the technology, transparency and hands-on support operators need to grow."
The hire tracks a pattern playing out across the supply side: aggregators are building out regional sales and account-management muscle as content distribution becomes the layer operators actually shop for, rather than any single studio's catalogue. Games Valley now has a dedicated Americas lead the same way rivals like Relax Gaming have expanded their own distribution partnerships market by market.
For operators weighing whether to keep building proprietary game content or lean on an aggregator's ready-made catalogue, a named regional commercial lead is a small but concrete signal that a supplier intends to compete on service, not just on the size of its content library. Morales' first job is turning that pitch into signed operator deals across the Americas, the market Games Valley is now staffing for by name rather than by committee.
A hire that says the pitch needs a face
Aggregators rarely need a household name to win a deal, but they do need someone an operator's commercial team can actually call. Games Valley just decided that person should carry two decades of the exact rolodex its rivals already have.
