bet365 has scrapped its long-running "Never Ordinary" brand platform for a new positioning, "We Know Betting," debuting the switch with an ad called "Reasons" during the Arsenal vs Coventry City Premier League match on August 21, 2026. The campaign is live now in the UK and Denmark, with Spain and Germany to follow in the coming weeks, running across television, audio, print, out-of-home, sponsorship and digital channels.

Alex Sefton, bet365's global chief marketing officer, said the new line "reflects the 25 years we've spent perfecting what we do and, importantly, how we use that knowledge to create the best possible experience for our customers." Where "Never Ordinary" sold attitude and differentiation, "We Know Betting" sells tenure: the campaign leans on 25 years of bet365 product history, including in-play betting, live streaming, Cash Out, Early Payout and Bet Builder, as the argument for why customers should stay.

Kevin Lynn, creative director at Drummond Central, the agency behind the work, described "Reasons" as turning "the camera on the brand itself" to ask "what's behind the experience." bet365 built the campaign around its own product catalogue rather than celebrity endorsement or a sponsorship-led hook, a different route to attention than several rivals are running this month.

The repositioning lands at a moment when UK operators are all fighting for the same Premier League kickoff-window attention with money rather than brand narrative. Betfred is exiting its near-decade Super League title sponsorship as UK tax pressure squeezes marketing budgets, and the 2023 Premier League shirt-sponsorship ban already forced operators to find other ways onto the pitch. bet365's answer is to spend on brand identity itself rather than sponsorship real estate, betting that a 25-year-old market leader's incumbency is a more durable asset than any single deal.

Tenure as the pitch, not the sponsorship

A market leader that has spent two decades building the product now has a marketing decision most challengers cannot copy: sell the history instead of buying the attention. Whether "We Know Betting" outlasts "Never Ordinary" as a platform depends on whether bet365 can keep pointing at product firsts as the rollout reaches Spain and Germany, not on how loudly the launch ad plays.
