# Boot Hill Casino Extends DraftKings Deal Through 2030

**Butler National Corporation's Boot Hill Casino & Resort extended its sports wagering management contract with the Kansas Lottery by three years, through 2030, and matched it with a 10-year extension of its commercial sports betting arrangement with DraftKings, the company announced August 20.** The original Kansas Lottery deal ran five years from 2022, when the state first authorized lottery-managed sports wagering.

The DraftKings extension is contingent on Boot Hill keeping its Kansas Lottery management authority, tying the two agreements together rather than letting either run independently. Terms are updated to current market rates, though Butler National did not disclose specific revenue-share figures.

Boot Hill, based near Dodge City in southwest Kansas, runs more than 500 electronic gaming machines, 15 table games, a 150-seat restaurant and an on-site DraftKings retail sportsbook through subsidiaries BHCMC and Butler National Service Corporation.

Ryan Deutsch, Boot Hill's general manager, said the Lottery's renewal reflects "continued confidence" in the property, and called the DraftKings relationship "successful." He framed sports wagering as now "an important component of our entertainment offering" that supports tourism and state tax revenue in the region.
